Abby, seeking out new places to hide or hang out, depending on the circumstances, walked quickly through the forest, her hands shoved into her back pockets. She noticed there actually wasn't much out in the forest. She also noticed that no one could be seen from where she was. She reached down and pulled a small knife out of her shoe, where she always kept it. Checking around her, she gripped the knife tightly in her right hands. Seeing no one around her, she smiled and faced a small oak tree, and took aim.
Pulling the knife past her ear, she took careful aim, then released the knife, throwing it past her head and dropping her hand at her side. She watched the knife twirl through the air before it finally reached the base of the tree.
Abby smiled happily, glad that she hadn't lost her touch. She jogged to the base of the tree and retrieved her knife, wiping the edge against the bottom of her jeans to clean the blade. She walked quietly backed to where she had started and prepared to throw the knife again.

Ali had been watching Abby chuck a knife at the tree. It amused her, and was inspired by it.
"You've got quite an arm." Alishia said, walking from behind a tree.
"Wish I had talent like that."

Thank goodness Abigail had already let go of her knife. She heard someone come up behind her just barely and was scared almost half to death when she heard someone speak. "You've got quiote an arm. Wish I had talent like that." they said. Abby spun quickly and came face to face with Alishia. "Oh, thank Alishia. It's really not all that hard." she replied, smiling weakly, her heart still racing.

"It sure does seem hard." Alishia said, looking at the slash marks on the tree from the knife.
"How long have you done this sort of thing?"

"A couple of years." Abby replied with a shrug of her shoulders. Four to be exact. She ran to the base of the tree to retireve her knife and walked slowly back to where Alishia was standing. "Wanna try?" she asked, bending over and rummaging around in her bag for her extra knife.

"Um, I guess." Ali said, unsure if she should.
"Although, I've never done this before."

"It's really easy after you get the hang of it." Abby said, handing her spare knife to Ali. "All you have to do is bring the knife past you ear, then throw it back past." Abigail said, demonstrating as she did so. She quickly retrieved the knife then continued to explain, with more demonstrations. "Make sure you let go of it at the right time, or it'll just go to the ground. You should let go once your arm is extended completely in front of you. Questions?" she said, turning matter of factly back at Alishia.

Alishia gave an unsure look, and grabbed the knife that Abby was holding out to her.
"I'll try, but if I chrop my ear off, I blame you." Ali said jokingly.
