Ok, I decided to make this just in case you don't really get the basics of RPing.
First of all, RP stands for Role Play. Role Playing is when you are writing as a character. So when you a Role Playing you say what your character is doing. Here is an example:
"Hello, I am Larry," said Larry. Larry felt a little shy to be talking to some stranger.
Now when your RPing with someone, for say Larry and Sam are having a conversation in a website like this and are RPing together, Larry can't talk for Sam or anyone! That would be called God-Modding. So God-Modding is when you do something for someone.
So if me and Livinia for example are posting together, I have to say what I have to say and then Livinia will say what she has to say. So say we are posting together it will look like this.
Jack: "Hi Livinia!" Jack said walking up to her.
Livinia: "Oh hi Jack, how are you?" she said turning around toward Jack.
So here is that sentence, but in God-Modding form:
Jack "Hi Livina," Jack said walking up to her. Livinia then said "Oh hi jack, how are you?" and then she turned toward him.
That is not allowd!!!! And if I see any of that you are going to get a warning and a message saying to modify it now! (Not to be rude or anything)
So this is a RP game! Ok? I just wanted to clear that out for people who have never RPed before! Thanks! If you have any questions, then please post in the RP Questions thread!!!
